Can you believe it is almost the end of 2010? I can't....  wanted to share that one of our great kids was adopted this past April.  We also have two other children that are in the process of being adopted and they should be finalized this December.

This year for the holidays, I am mixing it up a bit and I am collecting gift cards for our foster kids and families. This way we can better track what each person is getting and they can pick out the items that they want to purchase as part of their Life Skills training.  I am open to all types of cards. i.e. Wal-Mart, Kmart, Best Buy, Dollar Tree, CVS, Toys R Us, iTunes, Modell’s sporting goods, Under Armor, Target, and the list goes on (anything you can think of).  This will also be much easier on you!
 
I am also taking gently used clothing/shoes of all sizes. We are in grave need of clothes for ages 7-12 for our community clients specifically.
 
Really, I will take just about anything you want to donate!
 
I need all items by December 13th this year so that we can get everything distributed before I leave for Florida on the 16th.  If you need longer than that, just let me know and I can be sure to hook you up with a contact person.
 
We have a total of 60 kids enrolled in our program and we have a total of 73 families approved as therapeutic foster parents.  Please let me know if you are interested in becoming a foster parent, we need willing and compassionate people.
